Question Would doin this help?

My car still wouldn't start after performing the simple procedure (pull fuse crank), so I am calling AAA to tow my car out of my basement lot to perform the complex (ATF) procedure.

One question, though: Should I allow the guys from the AAA to try to start my car? Would they do anything that would damage a RE car?

Thanks......

Don't give up so quickly. I just went through 3 hours of unflooding procedures. First be sure you have spark. If you do then proceed, if not find out why there is no spark.

Steps: Pull plugs, clean them, pull 40 AMP EGI fuse, crank motor for 10 sec, replace plugs and fuse, crank motor, if it doesn't stark, repeat steps until either you get pissed and break something or it starts.
I eventually found out that my fuel cut switch was faulty and not cutting off the fuel when I turned it off(instead of pulling fuse).

Do a search and find out how UN-complex the ATF procedure really is.

Stick an unfouled spark plug in the plug wire, and lay the plug next to one of the nuts on the strut tower. Turn the car over and watch for spark.

It is the EGI comp fues that you want to pull, it is the the fisrt one closest to the engine, crank the car for 15 sec with the gas pedal floored. You dont have to pull a plug for this. Install the fuse and crank again DONT STEP ON THE GAS this time. It should start right up might smoke for a few min but that is ok.

If you want to do the ATF trick it is a little move involved than that.

GOOD LUCK
