fit on a 2nd gen? i was thinkin about getting this efini steering wheel, and putting it on my FC

I'd like to know also..... what do the efini steering wheels look like? How about replacing the center cap of the steering wheel with the later model's?

Turn signals are the same no matter what, they are part of the dash, not steering column. The cancel switch on the column is hidden behind the column cover so it too is not affected.

The big diff is that the Series 6-8 wheel sits closer to you, and is not as forward as the stock wheel.
