Would a 2300 CFM fan cool my beast?
im going to go over my cooling system this week, and i wanted to know if a 23-2500 cfm fan will be enough to cool my car down?
im also putting a new stat, high pressure cap, 70-30 coolant to water, neocool, flush and fill the coolant (fc3s pro modified technique)
i have a
3"exhaust, tb mod, sheepdog bov, greddy intake, fcd, 680cc injectors, new wires, and hks plugs....
runnin 10-12 psi on 93 octane

The 70/30 coolant/water will give a higher boiling point as will the high pressure cap, but the FSM recommends 50/50 coolant/water because ethylene glycol is not as good of a heat transfer liquid as water.

I have found that electric fans let the temp go up higher. the best setup I have found is go to the junk yard find a shroud that fits the radiator with a 17" hole so you can fit a 16" fan in there then go to JEG's high performance website or call 1-800-345-4545 and order part# 771-19115 16" perma cool electric fan. it flows 2950 cfm and will keep your temp down. the shroud helps a grip so get it. let me know if you have any questions.

should i get the perma cool fan wiring kit?
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...br=76&lastcat=
or the painless wiring kit?
http://www.jegs.com/cgi-bin/ncommerc...br=76&lastcat=
the difference seems to be the painless comes with a relay, and is automatic, and the permacool is manually adjustable, and i don't think it comes with a relay, but i can buy a relay at like radio shack, and i want it to be manually adjustable....
just wondering what your setup is?
thanks

get what ever would be easyer for you I always wire my own setup. but this is hands down the greatest setup. you need the shroud though. thats a biggy it does have to be big. Just enough to reach the blades.
