I have an 88SE and I was almost out of gas, parked it on a hill and left it sit for about 8hrs. When i went to start it to go out it just turned over and over. I put a quarter tank in and tried again but it just kept turning. I checked the plug wires and cleaned the spark plugs but it didnt change anything. What is going on? I drive it everyday and i hate to start bumming rides.

 

try pulling the ecu fuse from the engine compartment, floor the pedal and turn the ignition over for about 10 seconds. Replace fuse and turn over ignition without touching the pedal.
