it won't go

think this might be my clutch but i'm not sure. I really started to notice it when I ran my car filterless for a week or two. I know that was stupid but i had to, no cash. All in all my car won't go any more. I put it into gear and if I floor it my rpm's go flying up but it doesn't catch riht awa it will hesitate then slowly catch. It get worsein higher gears with lower speed. Is this my clutch because if I have to go fast an keep the rpm's up when I'm in gear I smel burning clutch. Please help me out. I need advice. On a side note I saw a guy who side-carbuerated his 13b. Cool idea. Thanks.
