Does anyone have a link to the Factory service manual for a 89 GTU? (S5) I cant seem to find it. I'm looking for a wiring diagram. When I turn the running lights on they are real dim and smoke starts coming up from under the steering column. And I keep blowing this fuse. I found 2 wires that are melted on the wiring harness. A purple one and a whitish brownish one. Anyone ever had a similar problem?

Gosh I never thought it would be so confusing. The two wires that are melted are coming off of a blue connector. I'm thinking of just wiring all the running lights to a switch. Does anyone know which wires on the rear tail lights are for just the running lights? not the brake. I gave up on the wiring diagram....too confusing
