Wiring problem

Hey folks, I'm having problems with turning the key and nothing happens. When I accidently kick the panel covering the inside fuse box and CPU, while trying to start the car, the engine cranks right up. How funny is that! Anyway, has any body else had this problem? I'll be looking at the wiring there tonight to see what I can find. I'm sure it is a wiring issue.

There's a connector in that area for the starter interlock switch, hard to tell exactly where in the FSM, but it's there.

You're talking about the difference between no starter action at all, and then everything's normal again, right?

Yep, Totally no starter action at all. If I hit the the the panel over the fuse box area the car will start again. I looked last night and could not find anything but again the car is starting. Bumer when you are stuck somplace and have to fiddle with the wiring to get it started. I'll try to find the connector for the starter interlock tonight. Thx for the reply!!!!
