Hello I was wondering if anybody might know where to start looking for a short in my system. Ikeep blowing the fuse for the instrument cluster every time i put it in reverse. Any ideas would be great.

if u have a 5-speed manual.. check under the car where the harness runs to the gearbox.. check the plugs for shorts..

if u have an auto, pull the cover off the stick, under it is a box which detects what gear ur in by the position of the stick, check for shorts..

just ideas..
