Wiring issues, starter, ignition switch, JDM S5 to S4 NA

Ok heres the deal. JDM S5 TII, crashed into a wall. Swapping everything to Canadian S4 NA.

So the shell I have, had next to nothin in it, fine by me, So i used all the harness from my RHD S5. There hasnt been that many problems, On the main front harness i had to open it up and pull back stuff like coil wires, main fuse box wires, only had to extend maybe 5 wires, labeled and soldered.

I'm trying to get the starter to click.

Now I didnt feel the need to swap over the ignition switch because there was already there. but I'm unsure if I'm missing something, I can't tell what plugs these are.

The one i'm talking about is a white plug, had Red/black, Orange/yellow, black and green. It does fit into the plug by the clutch pedal, but the colors are completely different, primarily blue, and its a stretch. Anyone know what these plugs are.

I forgot to take the clutch switch. so thats not connected.

The interlock switch isnt connect....I'm shouldnt need it. JDM cars you do not have to hold the clutch down to start. I dont even think there is a plug for it.

When i first hooked up the starter, the contacts were reversed. So when i put power on it, it came on right away and stayed on. So I swapped it the correct way. when I was down there, i noticed two single wires, coming out of the lower harness, they are exiting with the positive starter cable, they are both YELLOW WITH RED STRIPE, one male spade, and one female spade, i cant figure out where they go.

This the S4 heater core to S5 harness, I forgot to keep the electronics, so the plugs dont really match up. I dont know if it will work, and honeslty dont care to much at the point, you can see how the S4 plug it bigger.

And this plug by the firewall.

I think its for the subzero, but im unsure. remember the harnesses came off of the opposite sides before.

Please help. I have searched, and been looking throught the FSM wiring diagrams

Wow! Going from S5 to S4 is bad enough, but tossing JDM into it makes for some real fun! That white connector looks to have some decent gauge to it, so I'd assume it's definatly part of the power. I can't make out where that's supposed to go however, it's kind of confusing looking at it like that! IIRC the starter was black with a red stripe.

Series five fsm shows if you go to START, the power leaves the ignition switch on the Black/Blue wire and goes to the Starter Cut Relay (located mear the Main Relay). It leaves the Starter Cut Relay on a black/green wire, and then goes to the Interlock Switch on the clutch pedal. It leaves the Interlock Switch on a Black/Red wire that goes directly to the starter motors small blade connection.

The startter cut relay near the Main Relay has six sockets. with four wires. Two black/green, one light green/yellow and a black/blue wire.

That's on a series five which I assume is in the car. Series five harness that is.

The Black wire that feeds the ignition switch is common to the LARGE output wire on the alternator. If the large wire on the alternator has 12v, then the black wire that feeds the ignition switch should have 12vdc.

Are series four and five ignition switches the same?

I dont believe my old car had a interlock swtich, I cant find a plug for the one in the S4.

I dont remember seeing the starter cut relay, only the main. I dont remember a extra 6 plug socket either :S, i'kk go check right now

On a series four, if the car did not have THEFT protection, then there will be no relay, but in it's place will be a bright BLUE jumper connnector attached to the plug for the Starter Cut Relay. And if it's a series four harness, the colors will be different. Memory says a black/green and a black/white and two other wires. The black/white would lead to the starter solenoid and the black/green would be the power from the interlock switch on the clutch pedal

The bright BLUE connector is usually stored below the trail coil assy's.

So, on a series four the power leaves the ignition switch on a black/red...........goes to the clutch interlock switch...........leaves the clutch interlock switch on a black/green...............enters the Starter cut relay on that black/green and leaves on a black/white that goes directly to the starter solenoids small blade connector.

That would be a fairly large black/green wire at the starter cut relay.

I cant find this relay anywhere.

This was the engine and harnesses when it was in the old RHD car.

there only seems to be the one relay by the firewall.

There is one relay under the steering column and one by the ECU

I cannot find the bright blue connector you speak of............

I'm pretty sure that my harness is not the same as North American ones. I need like a Japanese, Australian, European FSM. and wiring diagrams.
