PLEASE try the search function.

This is covered multiple times a day.

Short and simple: NO

You lose low-end torque, and gain nothing else.
If your 6 ports work correctly, LEAVE THEM ALONE.

If they do not, search on the forum for other ways to open them.... search for "electrical aux ports" or "airpump aux ports" something along those lines.

Here's a few...

Using the stock aip-pump: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...=airpump+ports

Using a ford lumbar seat air pump to open them: https://www.rx7club.com/showthread.p...tric+aux+ports

Another using a cadillac air ride suspension pump: https://www.rx7club.com/forum/showth...illac+AND+pump

As you can see... there are LOADS of posts on this. Plenty of info, and plenty of methods of opening your ports CORRECTLY.

The auxiliary ports are supposed to be open over ~3500rpm anyway, so there are no gains to be had, only losses.

I had a 1988 GTU with a racing beat road race header feeding a home-made set of dual 2.5 inch pipes into dual trust straight through design mufflers. It was loud as a Harley Davidson with pipes. It was my drift car. I pinned open the ports on mine. The low end sucked like you would't believe. To give an example, a stock 12A RX7 would smoke me off the line at a street race and I wouldn't pass'em till mid way through 2nd gear, yeah that crappy was the bottom end. But on the plus side the top end felt alot better when I was up in the local mountains(Azusa, Mulholland, Carbon canyon) Overall definitely not woth having them open all the time. The mods listed in this thread sound like decent ideas. I wish I would have thought to try that before selling my only non-turbo car.
