Title says it all: We had a really bad rainstorm and were caught out in the 'vert. Wipers turned on, but won't turn off. It's had over a week to dry out, so I don't think it's water shorting anything out, but I don't know for sure. The only way to get them to stop now is to have the car off or pull the fuse for them.

Ideas of where to look or what to do?

 

Bad wiper switch.

My buddy had a spare i put in my s4. Turns out that spare was the bad one he replaced and now mine does the same thing. It is possible to rebuild and clean the contacts in the switch but i rather just replace it.
