Wipers stay on all the time, vents don't work
The windshield wipers on my 87 TII stay on in high speed all the time. I don't have any control over speed, and I can't shut them off. I just pull the fuse normally. Does anyone WHO HAS EXPERIENCE with this problem know if this points to the switch or the motor? Not that opinions aren't appreciated, but I've already got my own.
Also, I have no control over my vents. they stay on vent all the time, no defrost etc. where do I begin? Thanks!

Bad wiper switch. Wipers are easy. All you need is 12v to the motor and put a gnd on the blue/white wire if you want slow speed or put a gnd on the blue/red wire if you want high speed.
So your wiper switch is kaput (bad relay inside?) or you have a dead short on the blue/red wire that goes from the wiper switch to the motor. See the free online wiring diagrams.
The motor is almost bullet proof.
