Wiper switch repair - not 100%

So I read a few FAQ's from different sites about rebuilding the wiper switch. Before rebuild I had the typical problem, only working on I and nothing else. I ordered 4 relays so that I could rebuild a few of them.

Used a heated knife to cut the plastic above the relay, butane portasol soldering iron set on the lower end to not burn the board and some radio shack desoldering braid. This worked really well. I got all the solder off except for one pin. When I pulled on the relay it ended up breaking. So I took a very small drill bit (much smaller than any of the other holes) and drilled the pin out. Put the new relay in and soldered it down.

Tested the switch now and every position works as if it's in position I. Every spot is the same speed.

So, did I damage something when I drilled it? Did I not solder it in properly? Or is relay #2 (the one next to the relay I replaced) bad as well?

This is a 91 vert, so no rear wiper, no top control and cruise control.
