Wiper switch problem...arggg!!!!

I recently took out my old "normal speed" only wiper switch from my 88 vert and installed a used one that worked perfectly for about a day. Now it is doing the same thing that the original bad one is doing: No intermittent, no mist and no fast wipe. What is up with this, could it be my car... please help.

You have a bad internal relay in each switch.

I sell rebuilt switches as well as can rebuild yours rather inexpensively or if you are good with soldering irons and skills, I can sell you the relay and you can do it yourself.

And as a Moderator, I must say, please search next time and read the FAQ for FC thread found at the top of this section. This subject comes up quite often and has been well covered.

Thanks for the tip... by the way your s4 to s5 gauge cluster swap worked real good. I know have nice round indiglo gauges in my 88 vert. Thanks

Yeah, I am working on harnesses replacements that let you do a S5 gauge set in a S4 car and visa-versa (for those S5 owners that want real sized gauges)
