MB Wiper switch

I have only one speed on my wiper switch, 88 vert. I forgot about it until I got the car out from winter in my barn. I seem to remember someone rebuilding these, am I correct? Is the one speed a default setting?
Anyway I should try to get a rebuilt one. Anybody help?
Mike

That is what happens when one of the relays fails. Unfortunately, the person who used to do the repair is no longer with us. I'm not aware of anyone doing it these days, but you can do the job yourself if you are the least bit handy. Go here:

I ordered the omicron relays for about 12$ and had an electronics repair shop do the soldering , with the instructions in the link ... little tricky if you haven't done it before or have the right tools . Definately worth looking into instead of the $600 mazda replacement part

ebay is your other choice . Evenetually you will have no speed
