Angry Wiper Problem

my FC's wipers move on their own? When I turn them on they work fine but when shut off they dont go back to the position they should be, they stay in the correct position for a few seconds and then they move about 3 inches up onto my windshield, which gets very irritating, the blades seem to do this at random with no pattern I have noticed. I have the repair manual and it doesn't mention anything about this. I'm assuming its an electrical problem but not sure what specificaly, if anyone knows what parts I should replace to correct the problem it would be appreciated.

Classic wiper switch problem???

Sounds like it to me. Look on the FAQ that tells you what to check when buying an FC in the electrical section. It is easy to change but very expensive if you buy a new one... Good luck.

Yep, you have a bad wiper switch. I can rebuild yours for you or you can buy an already rebuilt one.

However, you will not be able to rebuild that switch yourself by replacing the relay. The problem is a short in the internal timer circuit.
