Wiper Arm missing... Difference between RHD and LHD?

So I've been driving around for about a year now with only one windshield wiper. Before I bought it I had it inspected because I was concerned with the idea of buying a car with only one wiper; however, apparently only having one windshield wiper is legal (in Canada). I'm tired of how weird it makes the car look though, so I was thinking about buying two new wiper arms. My 1990 turbo vert is a RHD so I was wondering if anyone knows if there is a difference between RHD and LHD wiper arms. I took a quick look some random RHD Rx7 pictures and the wipers seem to face the opposite direction as the LHD ones. I've found lots of used wiper arms on ebay and such but I'm not sure if they would work on my car because they came off a LHD.

Any information you guys can provide would be much appreciated!

Is this something you'd be able to order at an auto parts store? Maybe a Mazda dealership? I've never really noticed the windshield wiper differences between LHD and RHD.

(By the way... Awesome car!)

Well I haven't tried the local Mazda dealer mainly because they are usually way more expensive compared to the parts I find on ebay and such. I contacted Mazdatrix though and they said they have no way to cross reference the RHD part number for the wiper arm; and of course, all their cars are LHD.

and thanks, it's my first 7 and I'm lovin' it.

ask one of the importers, i'm sure there's plenty of FCs still sitting in the scrap yards with RH wiper arms on them. considering many get front clips they may have some in the US/Canada in a junk pile of random parts that no one seemed to care for.

you can also try this thread for a WTB:

you should be able to get them from a local parts store. also Japan2LA could probably get you a pair.

i don't know about a local parts store, none here list the arms for sale as it is likely a dealer only part. being RHD they are in fact opposite of the USDM arms and have to be salvaged from a RHD model.
