ok, i ordered a new clutch hose for my 10AE but i had to order the non turbo clutch hose, as no one around could get the turbo clutch hose(and didnt want to wait on mazdatrix). i got the hose in and its the same length and size as the original but the end that threads into the salve cylinder is different. the new end is dished in and the old hose is flat across. here's a pic of the two side by side. will the new hose work?

Yes, it will work...it's the copper washer that seals the connection, not the end of the fitting.

yea but also that fitting to the right is tapered to help seal. as long as the threads are the same put it and bleed it and looks for leaks.

yeah, i'll do that once my new engine is in. its a ton eaiser to replace with the engine out, lol. i just worry that the tapered fitting will not seal against the slave cylinder and cause a weak pedal.
