Question Will this work?

I have an 89 GXL and putting in 87 T2 tranny. I already have the driveshaft rear end and half shafts. my question is would I be using 89- 91 T2 flywheel and clutch kit. A couple of guys have put turbo series 4 trannies into their S5 NAs, please help me out here. Also How much do stock 90 t2 flywheels go for?
Thanks

Yes you will need the TII flywheel because the starter position is different on the T trans. Not much but enough to make them incompatable.

You need the TII flywheel and clutch assembly (including slave cylinder). Shouldn't matter which year, though it would be best to match the year of your transmission.
