will these fit my fc?

im looking into a set of wheels, buy dont know too much when it comes to offset. these wheels are 17 x 7, with an offset of +40mm. am i going to have any problems with these?

No problem, I think it's the same width and offset as stock.

thats correct, they will fit. Stock T2 is 16x7 with a 40offset.

the only other thing is chech the bearing space in the middle. Most aftermarket are big to accomodate any car. ( but just check in case if you can )

Yeah...... I found out the hard way that the center caps wont fit on some wheels on the fronts because the bearing dust caps stick out too far and even poke through the rim!!!!!

how far off in which direction would 17x8'' be, how much would i have to add with spacers to get them right to the edge?

You need to look at the FC fitment thread in the SUSPENSION SECTION

you will most likely have big problems with a 17X8 +40MM on the front bacause, stock, there is very little room to the strut tower... like about half an inch.. its not the wheels... its the tires.... getting a tire not to rub on an 8 inch rim with stock offsets is next to impossible... without spacers.. ans spacers should be a last resort
