It'll start and run and be drivable, but I do believe that the timing is goind to be wrong. I believe the ECU uses not only the boost/pressure sensor for timing but also the AFM.

My only experience with this is putting a S4 ECU/coils in a 82 and only did it for the experience. Only had it like that for a couple of weeks and got distracted by buying a S4 car that needed rebuilding.

So, this is just an answer with no real long range experience.

If you keep the entire system in place including the AFM, then yes.

Otherwise you'll have to go to a distributer.

Why go carb anyway?
