Lightbulb Will an S4 turn signal work in S5?

Hey my left turn signal won't work, but my right one works fine so I was wondering if I could swap in a working S4 just to see if it works. Will this be a straight swap or could I hurt something.

My right turn signal works great and flashes inside the car, but my left turn signal when I hit it just clicks really fast but doesn't show any flashing from the inside or out. I know it's not a signal bulb because it used to do this but I would make a turn quick or hit a bump and the stupid thing would work again. Also if it were a bulb it would go out and that would be it. But the stupid thing works every once in a while. what could it be. I did search. Thanks!!

won't work without re-wiring the plug

S4 and S5 turn/high beam switches use different pin outs on the plugs

and your problem is probably a bad flasher board in the CPU. I have rebuilt flasher boards available on my website/webstore
