I've seen them in a FB IIRC

search, there MUST be a thread that covered this subject before

BTW rx-8 seats are damn sexy, but must cost more that most of us can afford

Will they look out of place in an FC? Probably.

in a black interior FC that would look sexy, not too much out of place...

I'd better like these than horribly riced out racing seats....

They're way more comfortable than stock seats, at least I think. But I don't think it'd look right, work very well, or be worth it in any way.

I had this thought as well. I saw those RX-8 seats & thought WOW!!! That would be TRICK! Not RICEY but MOD! From what I gathered it would be around $1600 for the pair of leather 8way seats. although I couldn't find anything online to actually buy the seats. Maybe U gotta get em' outa a wrecked one or somethin'? I just loved the rotor cutouts in the red leather seats!!

yeah, i thought about that a while back too, but never saw it done.

the rotor cutouts are hot, but i think they overdid it. they're in like 8 places on the car and a majority of people dont know what it is.

At some point in my life I thought about this....
Someone told me they were too wide to fit in the fc or something...not feasible IMO.

The problem with the RX-8 seats is the headrest area. It is radically larger than a FC seat, and will limit the rearward veiw even more.

At least that is what I found with driving a FE

I hope RX-8 seats work cuz I just bought a black pair...
They'll go nicely with the black/black S5 TII and glass moonroof...
If they fit...

So, by now I assume you've tried. Did they fit? If so, what did it take to get them mounted? Got any pics?

RX-8 seats shouldn't have a problem fitting, the FC Floor is the same design as the FB (HAS to be B/C I dopped GSL-SE seats in my GXL and they fit without a hitch)
I'm Buying 2000 Celica GT Seats for my car, Damn comfortable seats that aren't too wide/tall or ackward looking, someone else on this forum did it before i could and it looks amazing.
All the RX-8 seats i see for sale are leather, no good in AZ.

I personaly think the FE seats will look way out of place. They just dont fit the flow carectoristics of the car. Mine are leather so this is what im going by but the cloth may look more in place.

So what are you doing about that air bag that comes in the seats?

I believe you can get them w/o the side airbags. FE? wtf is FE the chassis code for the RX-8 has nothing to do with FE. its chassis code is SE3P. As opposed to SA22,FB3S,FC3S,FD3S the Its an 8 not a 7. heh.
