Will this be a ristriction?

I plan on getting the true dual setup from mazdatrix in about tree weeks but I was wondering if I could use the stock cans with it If so how much of a ristriction will they be if any

the reason that I ask is because everybody thinks that if you have an exhaust I will give you like 80-90hp (where I live at least) and I want to be a sleeper(not a dead giveaway that I have started to do stuff to my car i.e intake, exhaust)

Yea, the stock mufflers would prove to be a restriction with the mazdatrix true-dual setup. If you dont want to be too loud get some RB mufflers, they are slightly louder than stock, but will outflow the stockers very well. Either way, your car is going to be much louder with headers and no cats...

No, your stock mufflers will not fit on the dual Mazdatrix unit. See the attached url http://www.mazdatrix.com/r-ex86nt.htm There is no joint at the muffler to attach the factory unit. They are a touch loud, but thats why they make foam ear protection devices.

note I ment to say lucky, most people only get 5-10hp out of the full exhuast setup, to really utilize the true dual setup you need a large street port and or use the TII 4 port housings and mainifolds, it will actually flow alot better than the 6 port...
