Will this be a problem later on?
So last night I was waiting for my car to warm up with the "headlights on" and for some reason the idle started dropping down to 500rpm, then it sounded like it was running on one rotor. At this point i just thought it was just dying, so give it some gas and it had no power. I decided to just drive it around the block to see whats going on, so I take off and it had very little power and a weak sound from the exhaust. After 3k rpm, it started to run like it should, but when I got to the stop sign it started acting up again. So i decided to turn around and go home, and when I did it just stopped having the problem. I thought it was very weird and I figured it might just be there was no spark getting in.
I have been having a problems with my electrical system for awhile and idk if that could have caused it, so what I am asking is that, can this be a problem in the future?

Are all the warning lights coming on? If your alternator's voltage regulator is having problems, it can self-excite over 3k RPM. But at lower engine speeds, you'll end up with the battery draining. Once it gets low enough, the ECU will freak out and you'll have weak spark. I'd test the alternator output, and look for potential vacuum leaks as well. A big leak can cause similar issues.
