Will the PowerFC reset if disconnected?

So im trying too place my PowerFC ECU into the rails where the original one is supposed to be, because atm its only hanging loosly from the wires...to accomplish this i need too disconnect the PFC Harness and place it correctly in the rails, then reconnect it..im afraid ill snap or bend something if i do it while its hooked up...so basically...will it reset or make any changes if i was to disconnect my PFC for just a few minutes then reconnect it?

I would assume not because if this were the case, every time your battery does or you disconnect it, you would be fucked.

Thanks gents, and another one just cause i dont feel like littering the main forum with new threads for a trivial query ill slap it here,

I dont have ABS on my car it seems, (at least it doesnt work) and i have no speed sensing ABS discs with teeth on them...could i just go ahead and remove the whole hydraulic ABS Unit found in the engine compartment (located to the right of the charcoal canister on the T2 S5)...and then block off any lines connected to it from other units?
