What does it mean when it says to drive very gingerly? Like shifting at 2, 25, or 30?

i think gingerly is to drive it hard for the cat to be hot and stuff like that

I've tried the alcohol trick before, but it didn't seem to do anything. My solution is a cat from a chevy truck that was meant to clean the exhaust from a 454. No need for pre-cats even if the main cat is oversized.
