Will my spare fit over 4 pot brakes?

My car was originally a 4 lug car. It now has a 5 lug conversion with 4 pot front brakes.

Will a spare from a non 4 pot car fit over the 4 pot brakes or do those cars have a special spare?

Now that I think about it my spare might be 4 lug, rendering it useless anyway. I'll have to go check.

If you've got a 5 lug spare, it should fit.

I found that the issue was more with if you have the vented rear brakes, the 5-lug steel spare I had would hit the caliper. I have the aluminium enkie spare now. I haven't had to use it yet, but I'm pretty sure it fits... I hope.

Interesting. I've never had to try my steel spare over the rear, but it fit on the front just fine.

The spare goes on the rear hubs easily. It saved my *** probably 6 time. I didn't know that people were unsure of the back... Goes on just fine.
