Will my fuel system hold up?
Hi guys,
My situation:
I have an s5 TII which has a Techtom Rom tune (http://www.technosquareinc.com/mazda.htm). I have reason to believe that this chip has an FCD built into it, in addition to a fuel map and different (advanced?) ignition timing.
Question:
Can I (safely) run 0.6bar of boost (~8.7psi)? What will be the duty cycle of my injectors at this boost?
Relevant Mods:
-stock 550cc primary and secondary injectors
-stock fuel pump
-Greddy/Trust full exhaust, no cat, w/ silencer insert
-Greddy Profec A boost controller
-stock TMIC
-Greddy BOV
-ported wastegate
Thanks!

thats almost the same setup as me. except i dont have a bov, and instead of a greddy exhaust, i have an apexi with rb downpipe and bonez 3" cat. i was able to boost 10 psi using the greddy e0-1 with no ems. but my engine is detonating, which it shouldnt under 10psi. apparently my timing is retarded so i need to install my haltech and get it tuned. i dropped my boost down to 7 psi but it still pings/detonates sometimes.

Ok so I boosted up to 8.7psi (0.6bar) today, and redlined it once in 2nd gear and so far the engine is still running as strong as it was yesterday. I heard a little pop in the back and was a bit scared, but I guess it was just a flame attempting to come out (but can't because of the silencer and resonator) or something along those lines.
If I was going to receive fuel cut, I would probably feel no power around 6k-7k, but I did, so even though my greddy boost gauge said only 0.4-0.5bar, the boost controller was set on 0.6
