I just put an alpine cd player in my 87 t2. i ran new wires to all the spakers. (two 4" in front and 2 6.5" in back). later i will be adding two infinity 10s with a 350watt amp. i have a cap i am using for the subs. so i don't think that will affect the battery much, but will my cd player kill my car. the player has 60x4 watts.

Naw you will be fine i am currently running 2000 watts thrue my car "subs" but my cd player is 50x4 or somthing and it works fine but ya dont run with car off for to long you might want to look into a dry battery alot more expencive but handle subs/power better i know used to install profesinaly
