The back end of my '89 could do with an update.
Will the late model tail lamps fit straight in?

Nope, the late FD with the 'four round stop lamps'.
Mine's got the early lamps.

Yes. All you have to do is cut out or slightly bend a small amount of metal behind each light.

Try to install them, you'll easily see what needs to be done. It took me maybe 20 minutes total time to swap to the later 2nd gen lights.

Do you mean FC?

I thought all 89-91 FC's had the round taillights...
