will i need fuel upgrade for exhaust?
hey all. i have a 88 t2 i want to put a 3 inch to 2.5 Y-pipe dual on my seven will i need any fuel upgrades (injectors/pumps) for my car? I know i need the FCD. that includes the 3 inch downpipe. i have a blitz LM filter up front. clue me in .. thanks

Well...beee carefull becuz ur going to have boost creep and you might be boosting like 10 psi. To be safe about it, i would port the wastegate on the turbo, buy fcd, fuel pump, boost gauge, and manual boost controller. Thats the best way to go ! Porting the wastegate on the turbo will lower your boost into way safer levels, say like 6 psi or 5!

sounds expensive...... please say it aint so.. the fuel pump o was willing .. the wastegate......i have a boost gauge no boost controller.. what does a bost controller do?

A boost controller can only RAISE boost - no help for you.
Porting the waste gate is the most important.
I am still running the stock waste gate on my S5 & boost creep is a problem.
