Will this cat bolt up with my setup/emissions question

right now i have the racing beat 2.5in downpipe to their 2.5in presilencer to a corksport catback. if i buy the bonez stock replacement cat from rx7.com http://www.rx7.com/store/rx7/fcexhaust.html can i just ditch the presilencer and bolt the cat up in its place? or do i have to buy that setup with the 2.5in bonez downpipe AND cat..and hook that up to my catback?

My car is stock but has no airpump.. will my car pass the sniffer with this new cat and thats it?

Any cat made to replace the stock main cat won't work with an RB downpipe. The RB presilencers are ~20 long, but a main cat is only ~17". I have an RB downpipe extended 3" to allow me to swap in a standard length cat.

you pretty much NEED the air pump and acv setup so that it delivers what mazda calls "port air"

NODE went to a muffler shop and had them make a little 3" adaptor pipe that went between the cat and the DP.

i also had an aftermarket cat with an extension on it too.

its not really that hard to keep the header

I don't see why you would worry about a new cat not working. If the air pump and ACV are hooked up, you'll probably do fine. The split air pipe is almost useless (tiny bit of airflow except in 5th gear), but someone may look for it during a visual test.

sorry , i didnt mean i was worried about the new cat not working...i was basically trying to find out if by simply hooking up a brand new cat with no airpump/acv if i would pass the sniffer.
