Will 89 a/c compressor fit on an 86?
Just curious about the fit? My compressor/clutch is locked up solid. I can get a working one from an 89. Will it interchange?

There are two different compressors on these cars.... well, actually three. Nippon Denso and Sanden. I recently learned that there are actually two different Sanden compressors 
You need to get one that matches what you have, since the mounting is slightly different. Also, the way the the AC lines attach to the compresor are different. The two sandens that I have mount the same, but the lines are attached to the compressor differently.

I have a reman sanden compressor for sale. It'sfor an 88 GXL and worked ok. PM me for pics and info if interested. I'm sorry to jack this thread I also have it in the for sale section.
