I have probably asked this before, But can anyone tell me if a 87 Tii Transmission 5 sp will fit into a 5 sp 89 convertible. I just happened to have a 87 Tii and a 86 non Tii tranny sitting in my shed. JUst wondering if either would fit.. Thanks...

You will need a few more parts to put the 2II tranny in a N/A. It will bolt up just fine to the engine but you will need from a turbo: clutch slave cylinder, flywheel, clutch, pressure plate, starter, driveshaft that has been modified so it will fit the turbo transmission and the non turbo rear end.
