Will the 2X2 seats bolt right in to a Rx' that came with bins?

A member of this forum is trying to buy the rear seats out of my old n/a. I pulled the cushions up and I was surprised to see that the contour of the steel framing beneath the seats is way different looking than where the buckets would lie when they're removed. Does anyone know if the seats are interchangable?

yea i did the conversion, just make sure that you give the guy all the pieces required. run a search and you should find all the information you're requesting.

Uhh... do you actually believe someone could fit back there?

Rear seats are extremely unpractical, not to mention... they are an outright eyesore.

/\
L______ Just so you aren't terribly surprised by the disapointment.

I once had 4 people in my old FB. One of them was a chick riding on all fours in the back. Her skirt was pretty short. I wish I was one of the people that were behind me that day.

Think of it this way. I'm 5'6" tall. I drive in the correct position, slight bend in the knees with peddles fully pressed, slight bend in the elbow. My 3 year old sits behind me, I smash her feet and she is very uncomfortable. Thats how good my kids fit :p. If you need a baby car seat forget about it. I guess if they are tall enough to be able to bend there leg at the end of the seat they might fit better.

Its defintly better than having a second car to use. I also have a newer Maxima, and a beat to death Escort wagon. I'm quite the family guy :p

My 3 year olds says stuff like that. I used to take her out to the country in my 240SX and push it. Not to hard though, I don't want to get in an accident with her. She likes it when I do doughnuts LOL. Kids are the coolest. I want to try for a boy, but man 2 is enough :p

Don't forget, to do the conversion you need the side panels for the hatch that have the cutouts for the seat latches. The pieces that come with the bins are flush with no hole. The shock towers should have the bolt holes for the latches though. Mine did anyway.
