Will 28x10x15 slicks fit on a 90 t2

Will 28x10x15 slicks fit on a 90 t2

I just got these slicks from a friend and im not sure if they are going to work..The stock tires i have on are 225 50 16 on 3rd gen rimsand they are the biggest i can go cause of my exhaust. i measured and it looks like the slicks are going to be to tall... anyone know what size to use let em know..thanks

first your TII ran 12.6 @ 116 ? sweet second i have m&h racemasters on fd rims size 305/40/16 and they are supposed to fit. i'm probably gonna find out tomorrow at englishtown

28's are way too tall...

26's are the normal size, and even those after tire growth will get pretty tight.

thats what i thought....thanks for the info...any recomendations on tires slicks or not that will help me hookup.. i want an 11 and with traction i know i can do it... i have 225 50 -16 toyo proxes t1-s on the back now anything wider will hit my mufflers.

I used 28 10.5 16 that where mounted on 3rd gen wheels.

They are way too tall!!. I had to turn my rear coil over all the way to the top and set the stock to hardest setting to keep the car from sqauting down and shreding the tire.

it ran an 11.9 @ 117 if I had right size tires 26 10.5 15 would have had a better time. and better lauch with out setting all the way to hard.
