As always, there are a million to4 manifolds for sale for FD's, but never any for FC's. Mazdatrix only has one flange listed for 13b engines, so I am going to assuming they are similar. However if anyone has any experiences that would prove otherwise..

they won't clear the intake manifold. I think some people make a spacer to space it out. like putting a stock turbo on an N/A

I did. But you cant search for "fd manifold" because fd is a two letter word. I read a ton of threads and couldnt find anything so I gave up. You try searching for something so broad (such as "exhaust" or "manifold") and see how many threads pop up.

Ah okay, I remember someone mentioning that now. I guess longer studs, an engine flange and another gasket would work nicely I guess it all depends on the turbo and the style of manifold also, since they arent all the same size/shape.

I dont know what forum youre browsing, but I found at least 2 pages worth of threads when searching for "3rd gen manifold" in the 2nd gen specific forums

it will clear but if you plan on using the stock lim then you will need to do some grinding to match the ports. also you will need to either cut the oil filler neck to make it shorter or use a fd oil filler neck, because the fd manifold sits lower than the stock fc one. there are also some minor differences but if you want specifics you will need to PM BlueTII, he did it on his fc, along with the horizontal mount ic.

I didnt think of searching for "3rd gen manifold" . As stated, I went for "fd manifold" which wouldnt work. Ohwell.
