will a 12a fuel pump with a little fabrication work on a 13b?

Why would you want to downsize the fuel pump. Sounds like a recipe for a blown engine...

The 12A pump is low pressure pump for carburetor applications. The 2nd gen 13B is fuel injected and requires a high pressure pump.

Heh, for some reason I was thinking 1st Gen EFI 13B, not carb'd 12A. I wouldn't worry about engine damage, I'd be surprised if it would even start...
