The TURBO II are 5 bolt with a 5x114.3 bolt pattern (same as NEW HONDA PRELUDES BTW) and I believe GXL are 5 bolts too, so they are the same. The widest TIRE I've seen on an FC is this guy I know who has 19x9 WHEEL in the back with 265/35/19 tires, no rubbing whatsoever.

I used to know a few people that had FC's that ran with 265/40R17 in the back. No rubbing or having to roll fenders either. Their suspension weren't stock so that probably helped keep rubbing at bay. Unfortunately I've forgotten the offset they used. 225's should not be a problem if you have the right offset. I hope this helps.

5x114.3 he he thats much better than 4. Well alot of the wheels I like are listed as 5x114.3
Anyways why go so big as 19? 17 is perfect for a FC. 18 is perfect for a FD if ya want em that big

I think there is a guy in Okinawa that is running, or thinking about running, 315's out back. I cant remember his nickname but hes full of great info and has a really hot T2. but with out the muffler shields I dont doubt that they will fit.

I have 275/35/18's in the back of my FC on 17x9 with a +30 mm offset. They rubbed the rear fenders a little bit. So I rolled them. The muffler heat shields can be bent if they get in the way, but one of the obstacles can be the trailing arms. My tires are very close to them.

isn't rolling the fenders pretty simple to do? And how much more clearance can it give you
