Wideband Question

Ive read up on wideband installations and havent come across my quetion before. I just got my Autometer Wideband and the directions tell me to weld in bung then put in O2 sensor, connect and wire to various places. I know this sensor needs to be about 30 inches back for my 89 TII swap.

BUT where does all of this go into the wiring harness? There are no attachments for it and its datalogger optional... Do I keep my stock O2 sensor in my downpipe (Racing Beat) and weld the new one down the line?

Thanks

Also, how far back should I put the EGT?

I don't think you can just stick a wideband into the stock harness.

You will have to run the wideband as a standalone system.

the only wire that goes directly into the harness is the narrowband wire. This will allow your engine to sense its stock narrowband output and run 1 o2 sensor rather than two. Assuming the O2 allows for that. The rest are wired into a controller that translates the information to a gauge.

EGT should be place as close to the engine as possible, preferably into the manifold. About maybe a few inches away from the ports.
