Wide Band 02
One of my friends on the Nissan side pointed this out
http://www.zeitronix.com/Products/zt2/zt2.htm
looks like it would be a solid unit and goes low enough on the afr so it would work for rotary.
I might be interested in getting one.
any comments/concerns on this unit.

While here, I'd like to complain about Apexi SAFC's. If they would dump the shiney, glossy, geewhiz bang BS and just put it in a plastic box, that would be fine with me and knock the price downward while they're at it. It's just a dang fuel contoller that once set can be shoved in some dark hole and be forgotten about IMHO. In other words........too much glitz and shiney chrome etc. Just want it to be functional. It's like a chrome plated downpipe and colored vacuum lines....a waste.

Anyway, thanks for the link to a different AFR. Why don't you go to the other site and ask around about what they think of that brand, and maybe let us know what the results are?

and go through the motions of ordering one. I think their price is in the 550 buck area. That makes the site mentioned at the first of this thread sound pretty good.

the aem unit looks nice
http://www.prostreetonline.com/pso/p...es/aemuego.asp
but how low does it reach? Alot don't go down in the 10's. I never seen that spec listed yet.
.1 accuracy is nice.
has an 0-5v out put to log for your standalone but if your running a unit that doesn't accept that might be a problem (like safc)

On the topic of WB02, you can't really go wrong with any of the good ones, AEM, TechEdge, Innovative. They generally all use the same sensor.
The PLX one has also gotten some good reviews from knowledgeable people.
What I like about the Innovative, is that it doesn't require you to hard wire the WB set-up into your car, you can easily move it from car to car, or remove it once your vehicle is tuned, so that you have less gizmos in the car.

Actually, on that site there are two different widebands. There is one without a NTK L1H1 sensor that sells for 270 that uses a series of lights in lieu of a digital readout. If you buy the sensor the price rises above the 399 buck wideband, but for some reason the flashing lights intrigue me. And yes, I don't remember it having as many features.....but the lights a flashing. (not all humor).
