I just purchased my first RX7 after many years of following theses cars. It is a 1987 Turbo II with low mileage but really beat up body & interior. The car started fine when I first picked it up a week ago, but now it starts right up only to die within the first few seconds. It will do that every time... start then shut down over and over. I am not familiar with trouble shooting the rotary. Can someone give me a couple of ideas to try. I figured the engine was the best part of my car, but now it looks bad AND doesn't run. Please give me a few ideas to work with.
