I don't particularly care about shooting flames very much, but I've heard all of all these people shooting flames and I'm wondering why I don't. I have a header, a presilencer, and a cat-back (no cats), but it won't shoot anything. I just want to know if this might be a symptom of another problem, what do you guys think?

 

Flames are from running rich. I doubt that not shooting them would be a sign of a problem...unless you might be running lean, but you na guys dont really need to worry about that untill way into the game. Sounds to me like you should be shooting some flames tho...

 

You should definitely be shooting some flames with no cats in the system at all. I'm not sure why you are not, or if it is anything to be at all concerned about.

 

Can an auto vert shoot flames with no cats?

 

Sure can. Being a vert has no effect on it whatsoever, but it won't shoot flames very good compared to a manual transmission FC.

 

well i got a 90 vert (5-speed connverted) cats gutted, cone intake, and i have never seen flames yet.........
