why does my voltage rise with my speed
Sometimes when im driving and i just press the throttle down my voltage rises to 16. then my oil pressure rises slowly too. after a while it will usually drop. i think its my alternator but im not sure. any help would be appreciated

Generally it will rise a little because the alternator speeds up as the engine speeds up. If you're seeing like 12-13v at idle and 15v+ at speed its probably your voltage regulator on the alternator. It should generally never read above 14.8volts. Oil pressure should rise with speed, thats normal. Should be 30-45 at idle, and around 60psi at 3000 rpms. If you're seeing like 45psi at 3k it might be a bad thermal pellet.

same theory with oil pressure.

The alternator has a regulator that SHOULD keep the voltage from rising above something like 15 volts or so.
