when ever i spin the tires on my 86 fc it has this wheel hop that pisses me off. does ne one kno if this is a bad diff mount or wut

 

Why are you spinning your tires?
I hope you're doing this as the drag strip and not on public roads...

bad rear shocks - most likely if you got original ones
bad bushings
too high RPM launch
crappy tires
too much pressure in rear tires

If the above do not fix the wheelhop problem, get an allignment.

 

its a curse of the car.... burnout's are hard 2 do in them. weel hop EASY. in my experiences anyway. but if u r launching to high then u will get BAD wheel hop. tone down your launch a couple hundred grand and u will light up those tires lol

 

I find the opposite to be true. If I launch at 6000RPM, I can just roast the tires. A little lower RPM and they hop. Its mainly due to **** tires.
