Dltreezan,
Looking good.... The money is still in the ol' PayPal account awaiting for the first batch!
Let me know when ready and the shipping with insurance to zip 28314! Don't want it to get broken and the insurance can buy a new one if the old USPS guy kicks it around to much
Thanks for the great work for the forum!
Todd

aight guys i got it done for the most part and it looked pretty decent mounted on my car but it wasnt perfect and even for an inexpensive part Im not the type to enjoy selling something that is less than perfect if I can do something better. Along the way in building the frame of the thing I made a mistake or ten and fixed them but it left it slighty misadjusted and a bit tweaked and in the end was 85 percent but nothing i was perfectly happy replicating. I also have only 1 day left to work on this stuff and I am gone for six weeks to see my wife whom I havent seen in five months and have only spent 2 weeks with her in our first year of marriage, so you can imagine what a vacation this will be like, and when i get back i will be opening up shop in NC and will be giving this a shot again, but the kit in my avatar that I have been teasing everyone with will be my next project God willing. I gave the lip away to someone and I am sure he will be fixing it up or doing whatever he pleases with it and may have it painted on the car. So either way it wouldnt have been getting done for a while because of the timing with the much needed trip. Maybe that is too much info for you guys but i like to let you know what is up as well. Anyhow as for the hood it is a one off and when i get to NC i will be starting over from scratch as it is easier to do that than it is to have to pay to make a mold AND have it shipped so i will have a new one as well. As for the Cf dash I have been laying them up over and over for the last two days and the first one came out 90 percent and i experimented to get it perfect and kept degressing rather than progressing and now I have it all figured out and all i need is another day to get it to lay up perfect, but I only have a few days left so we will see what happens, but better to have a good quality and wait than to rush since I have a trash can full of carbon fiber dash covers, and this is not a business expense but a hobby of mine. I have two customers that have paid both total 250 bux and i have 250 bux of carbon fiber and resin in a trash can in my shed, so i do this at cost, and when i get back I will for sure be able to offer quality to the FC community for less.....-- Derek
