so my buddy and me put a new dash in his car. he has an 86, we put all the blue interior from a 90 gxl parts car in his car cuase his old gray stuff was nasty. anyway... we swapped the wiring from s4 dash to the s5... and it was done right, it woudlnt have anything to do with the headlight switch anyway becuase the headlight switch doesnt connect with the dash wiring... anyway... i guess we pinched a wire or grounded something out when putting the new dash in, we put 2 headlight switches in his car and they both burned up. so i put the burned up ones in my car too see if that was the problem... yep they burned up, so my buddy was like "well put your good switch in mine to see if its just the switches that burnt up" i didnt want to but i did anyway... so i hooked mine up in his... and smoke started coming from it... ****... so i put it back in my car... yep his car burned my switch up too. so i need mine and his switch rebuilt... im sure its just a damn diode or whatever that burned up but i know ill break the casing if i try and rebuild them... i know somoene on here does it but i cant remember who... anyway... pm me whoever can rebuild them and give me a price on two... we are in warner robins, georgia... wich is smack dab right in the middle of georgia....thanks
