Question Who Made Their N/A Bad ***?

The reason I want to know is because I am trying to get more power out of mine. What did you do to your N/A and why? How much horsepower do you have? If you put a turbo or a supercharger on it is it reliable and was it worth the time and work? If you have nitrous what kind of kit did you use and what size of shots? Did you get it ported, how much over stock? I do not want to sacrifice reliability to get performance.

If you are going to keep it N/A and i was in your situation ( with a NEW motor) i would buy a motor to have rebuilt and ported. I have a streetport, a little larger then mild but not quite wild...I call it aggressive. Don't ruin the motor you go by tearing it down. Just buy a core and start from there. If you are interested i have a running shortblock for sale you can use to start a porting project, PORTING is the best way to extract power from a NA motor. The little things like CAI, wires, TB modifications, lim mods, headers and exhuast setups are good power builders but you won't reach full poteintial of a streetable NA without porting it... I am asking $300 for the shortblock, the motor ran strong when pulled out of a wrecked car and is pickeled in MMO. Good luck

Badass for NA is the 13s, and I've only _heard_ of one, and it is not exactly streetable.

Muahaha. Badass for streetable is low 14s IMO. Bdoty's car was in that range before he got sucked into the dark side of turbo territory. 400 rwhp can do that to you.

What about exportation of the fuel injection and converting into carburation? lol...wow that rhymed.

Will a carburator make more power out of a 13b n/a.?

Don't just waste room on the thread because you feel like posting some BS! If you think your N/A mean say what did you do to your N/A and why? How much horsepower do you have? If you put a turbo or a supercharger on it is it reliable and was it worth the time and work? If you have nitrous what kind of kit did you use and what size of shots? Did you get it ported, how much over stock? Is it still reliable?

Glad somebody thinks my car is badass!!

I still have not got around to selling it. Best run for the yellow beast was a 14.6@97mph. I have a few things done since, including vert rims and an SAFC that I never got around to tuning. Its pretty quick, but its also pretty damn loud aswell. Handles really well, very nimble.

They put a clause in there to allow us who had the n/a block to be included, even though we're cheaters.
