do yourself a favor and talk to Kevin Landers at R&R before you buy a rotary aviation kit. I bought one for my rebuild and it wouldn't seal up to the used rotor housings. Luckly Kev had some 3mm mazda speed seals that he used and the thing runs strong as ever. So before you use those seals on used rotor housings you should talk to him.

Give me a decent cliff or an incerator and I would be giving it a shove right now...then quickly sprinting to pull the e-brake in retrospect to my hastefully made decision....then upon reaching the car saying ahh **** it......then at the very last moment throwing my body underneath the front wheels saving it from disaster and crushing my internal organs...... yes I think that is how it would all transpire.

hm.... since we are in the RX7 club, 2nd gen section..... i wonder why all the hate =D

anyways....
i guess i am a lucky one who has a GREAT and RUNNING FC TII... has the power that i want and need..... perfect handling (hey, better than any other car i've driven yet)
and my AC works =D

only thing i dislike is my broken interior pieces.....

but if u can't tell already... I LOVE my FC..... (as i said to all of my friends.... i'm gonna drive this, rebuild it, restore it, until i am 40 and get an Audi as my "Secondary" car, assuming i have a wife AND kids) =D

well, keep the love comin!

i hate my FC. but its paid off... and parts are very cheap and readily available for FC's.

i wont go into debt just to own an FD. and if i did, what would i do if i blew my turbos... pay 450 bucks for a good USED set? what if my transmission screws up, how much more are those than a good TII trans?

if i could do it all over again i'd have gotten a near mint car to begin with (mine has a salvage title from hail damage and nasty half-missing blue interior) i think the thing that bugs me the most about my car is my blue faded half-missing interior. and i dont wanna pay like 350 bucks for a complete black interior i'm not buying another rx7 unless its in very very good condition.

Jacobcartmill - For about 100 dollars worth of missing interier plastics, and some inginuity with Vinyl dye, naugahide (imitation leather), fabric and carpeting, you can get your interior looking pretty nice.. granted, it's not as nice as a true, OEM black interior, but with mine, unless you're closer than 1.5 inches from the surface, you can't tell that I dyed it. . IT may hold you over until you can get the complete interior

To stay on topic. I REALLY like my FC

Eh, can't afford it, but can't sell it (so much money into it with the rebuild & such).

It *is* very nice to take out late at night and just whomp on, though. The trick is not getting speeding tickets in the process.

I really don't drive much, and I use my sub-beater for a lot of stuff (hauling things) around town, but it's nice to get into (for me) a high end car every now and then.

I love my FC!! (I just drive it like I hate it...) I've put a little money and time into this car and it gives me more smiles per mile than anything else I've ever driven. So what if the interior is kinda ragged? If it starts bugging me I'll fix it. Same goes for the body. In the meantime, I'm just racking up the miles. (Unlike my last car that I spent more time underneath than driving.)

Your always telling people to put a damn v8 in thier cars. You need to join some other forum dude. Maybe granny's speed shop forum or something.
